I've been working for the past 15 hrs. Gosh! haha~ I arrived at KR at 8am... and i saw only the Sous chef. Me, Su and Alan went Sungei Kadut to do setting for a OCBC treat to its multi-billion client at about 9am. I took Boss's car there. haha~ there was no lift, so the 3 of us are sorta move all the things up manually.. The 2 wu liao men are like making fun of me.. we saw the multi-billion boss's son, and they teased me about it. "Eh.. He drives lexus" "Wanna use an unlimited credit card, drive big car..." "He's peeping at you."I replied " You 2 want ah... go lor.." i don't understand.

Me n Su served like mad, everything must be so quick and fast and flawless(cos according to my boss the budget OCBC give us is very good and we want to clinch a contract) and we gossiped about how this lady is trying to win the billionaire boss son's liking... and were laughing among ourselves. haha~ The 3 of us really make a great team working together. There were so many dishes to squeeze them into the table with 25 people, seats are already so packed together, then we are expected to serve rice using the heavy big glass bowl plus squeeze the plates of tiny dishes for everyone on the table.

The packing up part was funny though, there are leftover Kwehs.. So we brought it to the kitchen. There was this particular type that I developed a liking upon, Lol! The exterior is like "qian chen gao w/ coconut flakes" and the interior has banana-flavoured filling. It melts in the mouth! Wah~ I shan't think of it. But its super duper Nice! Alan didn't know the company still wants it, so everytime he went in to the pantry, he came out with his mouth moving. I laughed when I see him doing tt, until the 3rd time, I told him, " Eh.. This one they want 1 leh." "Really?? No wonder u keep laughing when u see me eat." 1 man in charge of the wood work asked his workers to help us move the heavy stuffs down the one storey high steps. haha! That's so nice of him. Cos u know why? Its because he went to eat the lunch and our service is like so good that he found it so memorable... haha!

Su drove us back to KR at around 4pm. Alan commented " zhong yu yao dao le" and both of us(su and I) were saying things like,"Huh~ u mean u want to go back? I rather stay on the road." haha~ cos u know what, we hafta prepare for the next wine-tasting event w hen we get back! and we're already tired after all the speeding+ moving + shifting (nt feathers, but heavy weight items)

For wine-tasting, the highlight of the day is the charcoal-"peng" lamb. I took a picture of it, it turns round and round above the charcoal fire until it's cooked! And there was a long queue for the lamb meat. Later, I was called to serve this VIP table w/ 8 pax, and there were 4 types of wine on the table, 2 kinds of white and red each. When I serve wine to other gentlemen, I missed out him. and later he was complaining to me(like a kid) "I didn't have my Shiraz" They're really expert wine tasters, hafta rinse their mouth, change their glasses after each glass. They twirl the wine in their hands.. From their faces, they simply love the aroma of the wine, the texture of the wine, everything... They just seemed so satisfied and contented.

I'm home! hahas.. Had a really nice day today! Dad came and pick us home after we had enough fun. Lol~The pictures will sum it all~

Alrite.. since the pictures say a thousand words, I'm just going to take my leave cos I can only type hundreds of them. Haha~ I'm told tt I'll be working more than 12 hrs tmr at KR.. going out to do setting again~ Gdnite All! n dont forget to smile even in ur sleep! cos u never know who'll fall in love w/ your smile! haha~ I'm talking crap? no it makes sense ok!! I'm not going to rattle on and on cos u may be bored. Just in case u forgot to smile, Serene says, "CHEESE!"
SAYONARA!

It was my first time at holland village CC. Then the 3 closing staffs + a supervisor took a taxi home at 1am! =) The place is cool manz.. Very cosy and nice. People(the fellow staffs + guests) there are nice too! I was stationed at the 2nd level then the 1st and there was this particular incident that I have to blog about. I was utterly embarrassed can? Haha.. I brought a red berry tea to table 57 and then when I was putting down the tea cup, a guy said, " Can I have another cup?" but somehow I heard him saying "I don't need a cup." So I replied,"Oh.. You don't need a cup?"(in my mind, I was quite amazed actually, but I began recalling the phrase tt he said earlier.) "Oh.. u mean another cup?"(They looked at me with some kind of puzzled look, i donno how to explain) haha! I was so embarrassed then, thinking back.. How could I ask such a silly question, how do they drink without the cup? I turned back and I heard them laughing.. -_-''' and later I asked the other colleague of mine to help me send the additional cup up.

I heard the "Ding dong.." for collection of food orders, so I went up the steps to the kitchen, took the plate and then while I was walking down, the rounded top of the burger bread flew down the flight of steps, clement was somewhere near where the bread landed, he said,"wah, zhe ge mian bao hen hao chi or sth." haha.. I thought it was funny! I Apologised to the kitchen crew and they reprimanded clement(in a fun way) instead for not helping. haha..

Vincent asked me to fire my staff meal at around 9pm. Keyed in Dory-Food modifier(wedges)(serene). haha! I hear the 'Ding dong..' after 10 mins. Was quite shocked when I saw my meal.. It doesnt look like a staff meal to me, cos it was so nicely laid out, was topped with strands of seaweed and yellow, red and green pepper. I cross-check it with the receipt and yes! it's mine. I thought to myself while I was bringing my food down the steps, " wah.. not bad ah.. work here staff meal so nice 1." and then Aaliayah appeared, " eh..y ur meal so special 1? Ours v plain 1.." haha.. ,"Issit? Donno leh.. Mayb they got extra seaweed." (well.. perhaps newcomers have such privilege)

Went to work w/ andy and eeboon today @ KR. eb was late by 15 mins... -_-''' and i deliberately said "Good Morning!". They were commenting + sending "an hao" to each other so much on the maroon-coloured uniforms. "really like senior citizens" "qi yue ge tai" and e 2 of em certainly took a long time together in the handicapped toilet cos the Gents was cleaning in progress. (Afterall they r boyfriends yea? so i guess tt's like their usual way of doing things. Lol.) We ate breakfast and eb was busy picking out all the green chilli..and commented that they are "getting in the way".(if i was him,i'd rather spend time in eating and leaving them aside) Slacked for the first 2/3 hours or so, later on.. the degree of hard work grew in intensity(e maths: directly proportionate to the duration thr w = kt?)

The lunch event was Fast i should say.. we were given a time limit of 1 hr to complete sending and clearing the 4 course lunch + two of us(eb & me) have 4 tables under our charge.Lol... (all of us were perspiring in the air-con event room). Though busy, for me its q fulfilling, esp when the tables u're i/c of are being cleared and served fast. Later on, more sweat was shed..

After the lunch, I went down to help out for the high-tea and cleared everything, the dirty dishes, transporting them to the loading bay + .. The two guys' are mainly involved in the "chu huo"(they didnt get the chance to be reserves) lol.. moving dozens of bottled drinks using the trolley is no joke, and I guessed they were enjoying themselves with the trolley on the undulating path, playing the game roller coaster? -_-'''. I declined andy's offer to bring me on the "roller coaster" cos I don't wanna break my bones or sth.( Their skills are nt thr to keep me in safe hands yet) haha! Their shirts are so wet that I guess u can squeeze some "salt juice" out from it. Xin ku le!

I guessed the manager was happy with their performance cos Alan invited them again for an event, the President Nathan's function. Haha! Well done buddies! =D
and they get their rightful & corrected pay => ( i dont rmb them thanking me for clarifying for em, so unappreciative) :( All of us gave our 1st boss a surpirsed birthday celebration and took a group photo together. (at tt pt of time, I really felt like I'm in a big family).

My conclusion is tt KR-50, though extremely busy at times + labourous work, it is a nice and fun place to work in! I don't mind hard work cos that is a place where memories stay even after I leave the place.

p.s no pics to show for today cos I forgot to bring my phone and the 2 guys were not enthusiastic about taking photos using their phones. Haha!

Met engkuang in the train back home, Gosh! He's even blacker now... Had a small chat.. That's so qiao! =)

Woke up early in the morning to prepare my sisters for the big day(End of Semester Performances)! Since mummy is coming back only tonight, my daddy and I have to "fen gong he zuo" since they're in different classes. I wanted them to wear the same clothes(cuter what..) but they gave reasons like "Cannot! I'm dancing hip-hop cannot wear this." " This one is not nice" " My team is wearing long sleeves so i have to." -_-''' So.. I let them chose their own clothes (A wrong move cos mum wasn't v happy bout it) .I tied their hair and told them that I'm going to do "Man tian xing"(sky filled with stars) for them. Lol! Haha.. I went to Sharon's class(she drew a lot and it says,"sister").
The seats are rather full but I managed to find myself a seat in the first row, right in the centre. There's this magic show that ask for a volunteer for the audience, I went.(the cold response that the rest gave was bad, at least give the 8 yr old some encouragement right!). Alright, this trick is basically the one that requires you to pick a card and the " magician " will be able to "read your mind" and pick out exactly the same card that you chose. This cute indian boy, dimitra asked me to choose a card with the numbered face facing him? haha.. Its really cute! I chose a hearts 10 (i saw it only when i flip it over). He began shuffling the cards. and then he stopped.

This was followed by giggles from the audience and children. haha! of cos, he got my chosen card right!~Claps*

Sharon's performance was the last, she did the opening for the song High School Musical. I cheered the loudest when her name was announced. She was quite shy, (not her usual standard, she can sing much better at home!), and she giggled(pretty obvious though) when her friend got lost in her part.
I was like (Gosh! That's so rude). I went up for the parent-children competition with Sharon. Sharon kept saying, " This is my sister." (I haven been bothered to explain, afterall how many times have i been mistaken for their mummy?) Lol..I was given the general knowledge questions. My 1st question was " What is the official language of US?" I got it right " US has no official language." and Sharon was cheering! and we got several "Guess the title of the Disney's songs" right! We came in 2nd for the game. (nt bad eh?) haha!



As for Sofia's, she did a wonderful job!(as seen from the videos tt my dad recorded). She danced Hip-hop, Rock & Roll and recited the Reader's Oath with much confidence! So proud of her!




Went on to work at KR-50 after that. Ada and I did the setting up for the lunch and high tea event tomorrow. We spent 6 hours setting up the place, (laying the table clothes, moving the chairs, folding the napkins into a fan design, cleaning the glasses, table setting) and Ada commented, " we spent hours doing up this thing and the lunch will end in an hour's time." (How true..but we r paid to do this work).
Had some slacking time at the deserted building (office hours is over) so ada and I went to explore the building, saw this Gong given by the University of Malaya to NUS, found it rather unique and took a picture with it, there's also this man holding a bird twisted out using wires, its v cool! We had our dinner at about 9pm and the chef cooked wonderful penne for us!(Its finger-licking good!)

Celebrated kerry's bday on Sunday, 20th May at Village @ Heeren. It's been a long time since I last met u gals. Xiao xiao claimed that I've vanished into the air. Lol.. I wont be.. just q busy for the past few months, but when there's an important occasion, I'll appear. (Just like the fairy GodMother) Lol! =) so as usual.. our dear eve was LATE! While waiting, kerry popped out the sudden question in the silence," lao da, u have a bf?" I was really shocked. Out of no where, this qn was asked. Haha.. so i answered, " I would make an announcement and ask for a Singles meeting when I've one. Don't worry."

We talked about anything and everything under the roof, do our usual crazy stuffs, eating and drinking w/o etiquette ( hint hint* i gt a pic on tt). + laughing and playing and much more! Evon got kerry a chocolate cake(which is nice!) and claimed that the Guess wallet that she got for her is purple when viewed at certain angles (fyi purple 's barney's favourite colour) haha! but as a matter of fact, I dont see purple. But anyways, it's nice! nvm bout the colour von! lol. Barney loved it to the bits.( i can see it from her eyes) lol!

We had a present giving ceremony and I was sent to give out the present, so I did so. It's hilarious, we were having our own fun while i got a glimpse of the surroundings, people were staring at us.(doubt u gals noticed it)

Elmo and I were chatting and capturing every fun moments using the camera. Not missing out the magical scenery behind us yea? (i'm still waiting for the magical pics..). Marianne didn't talk much, but I guess she enjoyed tigger's company, no idea what they were chatting about. (cant eavesdrop cos we were sitting on a round table and they're directly opposite) haha!

We sang barney a bday song filled with love, got her a prezzie filled w care and gave her hugs filled w warmth. Aww... Hope that she'll rememeber her 19th bday foreva!

Really hoped she love the little celebration we have for her! Really enjoyed every bit of time spent with all of u! Love u all! =D

Went to submit my application for UOL. i know i don't have any recent photographs. i know i needed 2 passport-sized photographs and i know there's a photo machine somewhere there and i know its $6 (3x $2). my dear xiao xiao-evelyn told me everything about it except 1 thing, IT ACCEPTS COINS.

so.. I went in and took a seat. surveyed the surroundings and the first thing I saw was the notes slot w/ blinking green light and below it, there's a small label that says, " accept only $2 /$5, no change will be given" (hw lucky i thought) so I stood up and carefully slide in my first $2 note, it got rejected, I tried again.. and again. I changed it to note no. 2 and 3 but it didnt work. One of them flew to the outside through the uncovered portion below the curtain. I picked up the note (people walking past were like staring at me giving me the funny looks) Perhaps they heard the never-ending noise of REJECTION. ( they must be thinking, this poor girl, wonder if she can take the rejections) haha.. so.. I tried again..... It finally got in accepted after the ninth/ tenth try i guess. But it seemed like I have already been inside for a long time (time just pass so slowly whenever u'r nt enjoying sth tt u do)

Now the screen show something, i chose my option and it shows [insert $4]. Now.. tough mission I thought, so I began my conquest. I tried sliding note $2 no.2 and $2 note no.3 so many times tt I lost count of the tries. I bended the notes opp of the direction its folded. I straightened the note as much as I can by pressing it on the flat surface surrounding the machine. I was already perspiring then.. Just then, I saw this magical sliver metal thing far below the notes slot, its the COIN SLOT!! thank god i thought, but WAIT!! I do not have any coins with me, I brought only notes (y didnt that evelyn tell me they accept coins??)

So i decided to give up on my notes. I feared that the screen will suddenly go blank and restart itself after some time. I only brought just enough money for the application and photo-taking!! Don't do this to me! I thought. It happened before... be it when I was playing the game machines in the fun world or taking neoprints. I came out of the small cubicle, saw these 2 cleaner aunties(1 indian & 1 chinese) so I asked, " Sorry, can I exchange for some coins with you?" They said they do not have that much coins. And the chinese aunty was like " wei she mo ? ". She was asking me questions to the point tt it felt like an interrogation. further more.. I only want to exchange notes for coins right? not asking her to give me her coins. -_-''' The indian aunty said," quickly. quickly go up the canteen and change" " But my $2 is already inside." " Its ok, I'll look after for you" (How sweet.. ) I went up the steps and looked down. hahas.. I giggled. cos I thought it was funny, two cleaner aunties taking care of the photo machine and they were like discussing sth(its like a typical CANDID CAMERA scene on tv) , maybe" Why like that ah?" haha i donno what they were talking about! But its really funny!

I found the canteen quickly(though I was totally new to SIM), got the coins, flew down and said my sincere "thank you(S)!!" and I went back in to the unsightly cubicle. Phew! luckily my $2 is still inside. haha. so I placed my $1 coin on the slot n give it a gentle push, x4 and I'm ready to take my photo. I wiped my sweat off my forehead and face. Finally...

" Place your head in the oval" ( how money-minded eh. it speaks only after it accepted the full 6 bucks) haha.. Didn't really have much problem taking photos cos I love taking pics. haha! I find the first pic ok but since there'r 3 choices, I tried them all. lol... I chose the 3rd cos I felt its more artistic, cos I have my hair all to 1 side. Haha! =)

In life, unexpected things do occur even if you have your plans all thought out, yourself prepared. Face everything that happens with a positive mind and for myself, I reaped sth from today's experience too! Well..At least now I know how the instant photo machine works now!

Sofia came home with this art assignment with only about 1/2 the bear's face is covered w the brown paper. As usual, she asked me for help.

and teased her if it's ok for me to cover the remaining bear's face with orange colour. She was
like "Huh...! na li ke yi yi ban yi ban?" Lol...

while i was helping her to do the "correction". Look what she's doing...-_-'''.

For 3605, its only 1.6km! tt's <50% of what we ran during our pe lesson. The usual (2 x 400m) warm up and the (8 x 400m). hahas.. tt's 4km my dear frenz. + u can choose to run & sing / walk& dance/ run & walk&sing& dance.(calculate the no. of ways for urself using permutation- issit 4C1 x 4C2 x 4C3 x 4c4? ) lol. well.. it'd be a fun experience for sure + we'd all be dressed like the same!(clones) how i miss the old days where we group together in e blue n yellow. ( a bed of sunflowers underlying the clear blue ocean)!!

For my other friends, time for us to do some catching up yea?

Phew! It was an unexpected morning which I was greeted " GOOD MORNING" by a big group of ants when I use the water kettle. Initially, every thing was fine. Just like any other fine tuesday morning where the sun shone and the birds sing. When the water was boiling, ants started emerging. where though i m nt so sure. it seems to be coming out from the inside of the kettle holder. well.. i m nt afraid of ants, but a sudden big group of them speeding out really shocked me. I stepped back and shouted, " Sofia! Sharon! YOU MA YI!" haha..

They were commenting on how timid i am as compared to my brave mother who can pick up ant weird looking insects using her plasticbag-wrapped HAND and send them out the window. There they flew to the patch of grass from the 4th level. haha.. I must really comment on my brave mummy, she's that great! =)

Now, the question is. What to do? everything was so dramatic manz! i asked Sharon to bring me something long, and she suggested the cane. The 2 witty gals followed me as well, they got themselves weapons too! Sofia caught a broom beside of her and Sharon, a hanger. So the 3 of us were like fighting a war in the kitchen. Sharon was like " sa...." ( meaning kill). There was an endless stream of ants oozing out from all directions. It's like Yucks! n Eww! n i guarantee the sight of it will send you shivers. oh man!

In the end, i resorted to water therapy cos there's simply no other way out to get em away without killing em. so i killed hundreds of ants i guess. I wouldn't have killed you ants if you hadn't get in my way. i am sorry..

Later when we had finished out breakfast, guess what! A Cockroach in the kitchen!! (nt again i tot) and Sharon gave a comment, " hen qi guai hor.. wei she me jin tian zhen yang duo cong ? (meaning its funny, why do we have so many insects visitors today) This time round, i really got frightened! ran out of the kitchen and shut the sliding door... Viewing "her" from the outside. Sofia and Sharon by my sides, " eh sharon, u go in and kill the cockroach?" she answered with her innocent look, " wo bu gan!". We stood at the sliding door for about 5 mins, studying the action plan of the cockroach, its movement was under surveillance by our focused eyes. I saw it changing course, heading to the cupboard where my mum keeps her dried ingredients, there's this GAP. My immediate reaction was " OH NO! I've to stop it before it gets in!" I took over as the broom warrior this time round. and hit it! it wasnt that easy to kill i must comment cos it has wings!! I dodged when it flew and attack when it's within my reach. cant possibly wave the broom in e air rite? The 2 gals were standing outside and cheering for me." JiayoU jie jie! Jiayou! and sa... sa..." GOsh~

Thinking back.. It's really funny!! Haha! What a tuesday morning..

It's time for a blog. I've been rather reluctant to own one ever since blogs came. What cause this sudden change in me i do not know.

Perhaps it could be due to age... which a change in thoughts will inevitably arise, followed by a change in my course of action. Perhaps i want more attention...or perhaps.. iTs jus because of u People who always intrude on my private affairs that I felt a blog indispensable. (its like a helpline to me) Qns like.. u've a bf? wad are u doing now? how's life?

well.. perharps its sorta unlike a carefree and secretive person like me to own a blog but I AM HAVING 1 now. You can call it a mysterious blog as you want but... U've have my promise of only telling the truth here. I'd also love to blog about the funs that i have in life, afterall fun moments R precious n dear to the hearts of many.
