According to Peter Pan in Scarlet, the island was pushed up from the ground by imagination. And in Peter Pan, it's shown that whatever a child dreams and wishes for will come true in Neverland.
There is a Fabric that exists between the Neverland world and ours. It is broken in Peter Pan in Scarlet by grown-up mess. This causes the dreams in Neverland to leak out. Then, the Darling children begin having dreams of Neverland. Only children are let past the fabric of Neverland. In Peter Pan, it shows that no one could go to Neverland without the island looking for them.
The journey to Neverland is portrayed in many ways. In the James Barrie novel, the island was found by the children when they flew onward for days. They wouldn't have found it if it weren't for the island moving toward them. In Peter Pan in Scarlet, they get to the Neverland world by flying on a road called the High Way. In many movie adaptions, they find the world by flying into a star.
In Peter Pan in Scarlet, it says that treasure in Neverland is whatever you wish it to be. Some people had wished for food, fairydust, firewood and other things.
In the world of Neverland, they say that time is told by either the Crocodile's clock or the suns and moons. It is mentioned in the novel Peter Pan that there are many more suns and moons there than in our world. In Peter Pan in Scarlet, it says that time froze to the children as soon as they got into Neverland.
Imagination seems to have great dominion over Neverland. In the novel Peter Pan, it says that a map of a child's mind would resemble a map of Neverland. It also shows that what you wish for ends up in Neverland. And J.M. Barrie also says that the island has no boundaries at all, probably metaphorically stating that a child's imagination has no boundaries either.

It's a really well thought-out wedding at Novotel! The montage put up on the screen is really touching! =D I enjoyed myself very much! They actually had their solemnization ceremony during the wedding! =)) I could really feel her joy that I cried, naturally!(though i'm nt the 1 getting married) Mr & Mrs Khoo has very nice wedding album compiled! 2 thick albums with nice nice sceneries and cute poses! Yays! =DD I'm wanting to be an aunt soon! hahaha=D And people have been asking me, so when is it your turn? ( i was totally taken aback by such questions. haha! oh well.. let's leave it to fate.)

Had a good celebration today! My mum made Tiramisu cake, its NICE! That became my sisters Bday cake! haha~ The coffee wine taste still lingers in my mouth now! It's obviously nicer than some other places' because they save and skimp on their ingredients. =DD The two silly gals were elated when they saw the maplestory card that has maple cash -.-(I'm nt an advocate of such online games.. i've got much to say abt such games! ~) and i got them a storybook each.. =D Kids are tt easy to please.. hahaha! no more toys! cos i realised toys don't live up to the lifespan that they have, the utility of them is not maximised. Toys are short-lived. and my brother called from camp and spoke to the two gals for like 15 mins~ haha he's bored...Terrorist on the loose for 1 mth! ~ he shldn't be given time to sleep! (afterall he did tell me we are safe bcos of him but i'm feeling unsafe now. haha)well.. seriously i've doubts to whether they'll find him at all~ he noes black magic... maybe they shouldn't go by the conventional way of man hunting but incorporating countering black magic techniques hur! I vividly recall this phrase from some show, but i modified it to suit our context now, "We've got to thinking like a terrorist to catch a terrorist, putting yourself in the shoes of the terrorist habours the risk of more terrorists." A vicious cycle on its own, isn't it?
Oh yeas.. The SOCI lecture given by MRS GOSLING was superb! i can just sit in 6 hrs to listen to her non-stop! Haha.. makes me feel the urge to look for an overseas education, nt just their curriculum,more to that,be there to experience it for myself! the people thr are just different. Their approach to teaching is what i love! THey have sth that i admire ^^,I told my parents i m going london next time, to study and live there for the rest of my life. and .. guess what.. they looked at each other and just laughed! and then they told me I've got relatives thr..(haha i was in a midst of deep thinking, pondering their intentions.) haha~ From my experience with my parents, that can mean two things~ haha i hope they are laughing not becos of A but B.
Me and Huiyi's conclusion, "Adrian is losing out... His position is hard to keep. we're taking seriously consideration if we shld be attending his rev lectures at all~ not a valuable resource anymore, we've found better one! di wei nan bao~
=D haha.. i got a funny question frm a funny person today, and so i gave a funny answer. that makes it all a funny joke!
It's definitely a much better option!(drawing conclusions just on the pay and the benefits. I'm totally clueless abt what the working envt is like). But from what I heard from my dear fren there're lots of stories to be heard! Job scope: Insurance premiums etc.. I got a call from NTUC income today(thanks evelyn! they are quite efficient hur) but I told her I'll only be able to start in June if I'm taking up the job. And the answer she gave was kinda cute, " Okay then I'll call you in May." haha~!
But oh well... I like the kids at Tien Hsia. Maybe I can continue working there every thursday. It has got to be thursday because my favourite little gal is there! haha~ Let me decide what I can do.. Its either this or that, I only have a pair of hands and legs each. I should move on... and looking for better options to grow!
My sisters birthday is in 2 days time! =D They are 9 yr-old when the day comes! Time just flies, I rmbered how I carried them when they were really young, held them when they learn to walk when they were 2+. and now.. they are 9~And they want me to PIGGYBACK them.. one thing for sure, they're not light and such 'exercise' places significant amount of stress on my back! haha~ Sofia treat me as "Mini A ti" some character in Maple Story (i dont play so I'm really clueless abt terms she used) But I learnt that its a white creature with a basket that brings "King PertPert"(She is referring tt to her) around. Sometimes I tell her my basket spoil already and she will bring me the basket which my mum used for the clothes! haha! =D But its fun sometimes mixing around with kids, they got loads of interesting discoveries to be made. Their brains just work differently!(Face it! we're getting old...) haha! They got really sharp tongues now, I'm almost losing out in our very own sisters debate. For their term tests, Sharon top her class for both languages and received a special commendation from the teacher. Sofia isn't as good but she too has her own forte. ^^
Ting was funny during lecture today! He was showing us the solutions on the OHT and one sort of injured his eyes when he was changing it. He teared for a few seconds and after few minutes or so, he suddenly crushed the "black-listed" transperancy and dumped it into the bin. And then he gave a funny laugh! Gosh~ I couldn't stop laughing, I thought its kinda childish but then, its funny and cute at the same time!

My hair is short now! The hairstylist asked me 3 times if i'm sure to cut it short, he said sth like, " more than 1/2 of it will be gone. Are you sure? You can change your mind before I move my fingers." haha.. today was my funniest hair cutting experience, and the only one that I was being asked, " Why do you want to cut your hair?". I like my new hairstyle now. And it can look as smooth and straight provided if i take e effort to blow my hair using the techniques he taught. Halfway thrgh the haircut, he commented that its good for girls to change hairstyle every now and then, than the stylist left of him began to join in the conversation. As such, I was kept entertained throughout the haircut. 
My cousin is getting married on the 29th march. =D I'm excited to attend her wedding.(i like attending weddings.loL!) Seriously, I cant understand why it has to be a gold bracelet, but it seemed to be my parents' practice. The price of gold will be here to stay. They tried numerous bracelets on me that made me feel like they're actually buying it for me. For once, I had 6 different bracelets on me! haha.. personally, I like white gold better, but if it was for investment, as in the buying to keep kinda, yellow gold is still the wiser choice. I was shocked when I learnt the price jump as of 20 years back. Sounded like real good investment hur, maybe 10 years down the road, the figure will grow again. I believe it will.
oh.. my brother finally come home today after Mas Selamat's escape. His unit was in charge of the west, combing mainly the wooded areas. High possibility that they can find him since experts have cfm tt he's in the wooded areas of Singapore. He's going back in on Sunday and he's kinda sianz abt it. haha! and he strongly believes tt good food should be served to him when he comes home. His favourite phrase was tt," You all are safe because of me." lol!
i went to do some research on my brother's armour unit, unit 46 SAR. He didn't tell me much abt it so i decided to find out more. It won the best unit for many years. no wonder they were deployed in search of Mr Terrorist. haha.. he was stuck in the camp for 2 weeks! haha.. He came home just 2 hrs ago in his uniform, looked kinda cool leh.. (I tried on it before but it was not fitting. lol!) and I asked him for the reason why he didn't managed to catch Selamat. I got a cool look frm him instead. Maybe he can't reveal much.

very nice pool, nice landscaping! So.. we went thr after our stats paper,haha. okays let me talk about all the fun that we had today!
First..we do what we have to do before getting into the pool, yea~ we got to change and get our things locked. haha yea and the string on the key is to let us get it onto our arms, haha. And I happen to choose 1 locker in which the key has no string, n my 20c is already inside, so eve was clever enough to untie the knot on her key and i hook mine in~ =) haha.. we applied our usual lotion, not the same though. eve-sunblock. me-suntan. lol! well didn't work too well for me though. it was really funny the other time when sunblock works as a suntan for eve, and my suntan didn't quite work well. haha...
the pool was really really empty, just the 2 of us and the lifeguards were the only ones there. So we swam a couple of laps than we began out exploring the other fun areas. On the slide.. Whoosh and "Ah!" we came with a big, loud splash. We actually wanted to try again until the successful attempt in scaring ourselves by discussing of the consequences of an unexpected situation, like what if we hit our heads/spine before we are in the water. haha~ so we decided to play safe. We spent most of our time in the Jacuzzi which we discovered have some sort of slimming effect. haha! can be kinda obscene but oh well.. we were the only ones thr! hahaha! Had a real fun time chatting! too bad there is no sun~ =D i like the sun... ^^.jpg)

Both of us were hungry. so we went looking ard for food, chance upon this indian restaurant, named simply curry. It has its OPEN sign out but inside there is no 1. only 3 indians. lol! "Are you open?" "yes." and we went in to take our seat. Wahs here comes the ordering part. I totally had no clear idea what the indian man was talking about when I asked about the menu stuffs. "How big is the portion?" "no. 5."(he's actually talking about 5 pieces of chicken) haha.. i got question marks in my head by then, more questions i feel, will surmount to more confusion. We ordered simply mutton and chicken malabari.. lol i donno how it taste like though. .jpg)

We went thinking why he take so long to cook while the other 2 outside at the bar. Maybe he doesn't know what ingredients to add. Wah u know.. suddenly, the other 2 went in too! and they closed the kitchen door. loL! big mission hur? i think we waited for about 20 mins before our food came. (shhh..) haha. but its kinda troublesome to walk back and return him e money.(its an excuse though) lol! 20c only ma.. If tt was an integrity test, i'm just goin to fail. We played the beats game, where u've to hit the right chords as shown on the screen, kinda fun! =D I think we played alot of tt! haha more like doing unthinking hitting of buttons to try our luck for the fast parts. lol! The DDR was okays. and don't choose training mode next time! Ended off with the shooting game. I bet your hands are tired evelyn.. u pull the trigger like so many times /shot, haha u r not aiming.. playing cheat.

Had sometime finding our way out! It's a "blind leading blind" situation. I can be rather long-winded on this, so let me just highlight the exciting part. we walked into this door and was kinda dark, there was another door at the other end, when i tried to open, it feels like some1 at the other side is pulling it back, and i saw a pair of trousers hanging on the handle at the other side of the door, through the opening. And the 2 of us ran out! haha~ after much efforts and some sweat out, tadang! =D we saw the exit.
Home sweet home next. some1 is having paper tommorrow while my prelims has ended! lalala~ i'm smiling away. Anyways, GooD luck Evelyn! I had a wonderful day today! THank you!

The Career and Education fair today was good.. We ran out of brochures like very quickly. Seems like hospitality is the hot thing now. N i met 3 long lost frenz in a row.
I induced the ??? in their heads for all 3 of them..For the 1st 1, I said, " You look familiar! Where do i see you ah?" and then we started to recall.. haha it was at a tuition centre about 4 years back..haha n the chat either like. Me:" you didn't change much lehs.." "i think u also didn't change much." She is Magdeline.
For the 2nd, I saw her walking by and I thought to myself " wahs another familiar face...", " Do you know me? I think I know you." She gave me weird stare at the start. haha this 1 took me abit longer...After much attempts of I knew her from Isetan, she was the promoter at the other counter. This is Kelly.
I requested for break before my official break time. The conversation " Wah u hungry already ah?" " ya lor.. u didn't see I talk so much meh?" " ya.. u talked crap.." "WaD!!!" haha..And then I went for my lunch at food republic.. had fried fish beehoon(w/ milk).
And then.. I took a walk around, guess what I saw my Primary School band mate.. It has been 8 years since I last saw her! But I rmb her name..She was kinda shocked and I don't think she rmb me until I prompt her abt khs band... Glad to know she's working at a designing firm now. This is Xiufeng.
I feel really good meeting familiar faces..then I thought I was really lucky today... haha! n my fren added," If I was a guy.. I'd have mistaken that u are trying to know me", and she sorta commented my approach. I felt like irritating her.. So i asked, " really meh?" "why hur?" almost at every reply she gave.
Oh yeas.. Special thanks to my dear evelyn that appeared w/ her dearest boyfren..haha! sorry for asking the silly question, " eh? y u 2 come together?" haha~ i felt like teasing...N it was funny when Desmond said, " she say she want to come and find you." haha!
